This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality patient-centered care in mental health drug and alcohol services. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote a learning culture that supports innovative practice.
* Acting as an appropriate and effective role model, promoting a learning culture that supports innovative practice across the mental health drug and alcohol portfolio.
* Providing education and training to nurses and other healthcare professionals on mental health drug and alcohol issues.
* Developing and implementing educational programs and resources to support the development of nursing skills and knowledge.
* Collaborating with educators, clinicians, and other stakeholders to develop and implement educational initiatives that promote best practice in mental health drug and alcohol care.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
* Current Authority to practice as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation (AHPRA).
* Holds a relevant clinical or educational post-registration qualification or 3 years' clinical experience in mental health nursing and education.
* High level communication and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of teaching and facilitation in adult learning principles within the health care environment.
