Application Integration Specialist
This is a mid-senior level position that involves supporting, maintaining and optimizing business applications across the organization.
Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for ensuring business applications are leveraged to their full potential while maintaining compliance and security standards.
The key responsibilities include identifying opportunities to maximize use of existing business applications, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement enhancements, managing small scale application projects from planning through to delivery, providing level two support and coordinating with vendors for issue resolution and system updates, developing and delivering training sessions and creating clear documentation for users, configuring, maintaining and upgrading application systems, monitoring application performance and recommending improvements, managing software licensing, patching schedules and compliance with Essential Eight, administering user access and participating in testing, deployment and change management processes.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, proven experience configuring and integrating enterprise applications, track record managing the lifecycle of business critical applications, experience leading process improvement initiatives, ability to create training materials and deliver sessions to varied audiences, strong documentation skills for procedures, guides and configuration records, experience with software updates, patching and compliance frameworks such as Essential Eight, project delivery skills using structured methodologies, testing and deployment experience with adherence to change management processes, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
