As part of Coventry Group Ltd, we're backed by strong national resources and a trusted reputation for integrity, service, and results. Now, we're investing further in South Australia, and we're looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to help lead that growth.
Your Mission
As our SA-based BDM, you'll take charge of growing our presence across the region. You'll partner with builders, contractors, and project leads to provide fastening solutions that are tailored, reliable, and built to last.
You'll be responsible for:
1. Developing and executing strategic sales plans across South Australia
2. Identifying and securing new business opportunities across construction, infrastructure, and industrial markets
3. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with key clients and decision-makers
4. Promoting a wide range of products, from standard fasteners to engineered solutions
5. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, support, and customer success
What You Bring
You're a natural relationship-builder, problem-solver, and deal-closer. You understand the construction world, its pace, its people, and its challenges - and you know how to deliver real value.
Requirements include:
* 3+ years in B2B sales or account management, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or industrial supply
* A consultative, solution-focused selling style
* Confidence dealing with builders, project managers, contractors, and procurement teams
* A track record of exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
