Veolia ANZ is seeking experienced Electrical or Mechanical Technicians to join our Rockhampton team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of critical water infrastructure including a state of the art Water Filtration Plant, River Intake Pump Station, 120 km Pipeline, and 2 x 2ML Reservoirs.

What you'll be responsible for
Operate and maintain pump stations, treatment plants, and reticulation systems to meet contractual requirements
Conduct water sample collection and laboratory analysis
Monitor, optimise, and report on plant and system performance
Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on all plant equipment and systems
Respond to and rectify SCADA alarms and troubleshoot equipment issues
Maintain accurate records in the CMMS system
Plan and execute scheduled maintenance tasks
Participate in on-call roster with after-hours response as required
Ensure compliance with WH&S, Environmental, and Quality Systems
What You'll Need to be Successful
Trade qualifications or tertiary qualifications in chemistry or process discipline
Experience in process industry operations, ideally water/wastewater treatment
Knowledge of water treatment practices and chemistry
