The chance
We are seeking a talented Financial Analyst/Project Cost Controller to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the E-7A Wedgetail. The role would be based in Williamtown, NSW.
Responsibilities:
Support the month end process with the required journals and reconciliations, including all required reporting.
Maintaining project forecasts and assist with preparing variance analysis
Participate in budget and forecast reviews one on one with cost account managers and other relevant stakeholders
Investigation of cost drivers and areas for improvement
Use of project management cost tools
Project Costing and Estimation
Training and mentoring of other staff within the team
Experience/Qualifications
Qualification in accounting or equivalent practical experience
Ability to adapt to different situations and organise priorities autonomously to meet deadlines
Proactive
Valuable communication skills and ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders
