**About the Role**:
Are you a creative individual with a passion for professional graphic design? As our Graphic Design Support Officer, you will collaborate with our experienced design team to provide graphic design services across various portfolio areas. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to significant economic development projects, ensuring that the department's customer-facing services, programs, and initiatives are presented to the highest standard.
You will be an integral part of our dynamic Strategic Communications and Customer Experience unit, reporting directly to our Senior Designer. Your objective will be to create compelling content that effectively engages across digital and media platforms, including social media, news media, websites, and video.
**About You**
With a background in graphic design and a sharp eye for detail, you will be able to provide graphic design services across both digital and traditional media. You're highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and content management systems, using these tools to create high quality design outputs.
You work well with others, easily understanding what clients need and turning those needs into effective visual solutions. You're organised and ready to take on new challenges.
**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Proven graphic design knowledge and skills that ensure the effective and creative development, maintenance and review of promotional, marketing or communication materials across a range of different delivery modes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of print and online services, trends and developments and public relations, marketing, media, communications, promotions and market research protocols.
- Highly developed skills using the Adobe Creative suite programs to produce design solutions.
- Knowledge of SA Government branding, communication and marketing policies and protocols, and of print production techniques and methods.
**Remuneration**:
Competitive salary (ASO4 $ 76,561 min - $ 80,256 max pa) plus 11.5% superannuation

**Qualifications**:
Desirable: A relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Visual Art, or a related discipline.

- Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) required prior to employment.
