Speech Pathologist Job
We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team, providing assessment and intervention across a diverse caseload. Our speech pathology team is neuro-affirming and supports children of all different learning profiles and presentations.
About the Role:
* This role involves working with children aged 0-18, assessing and addressing various communication disorders such as stuttering, feeding issues, developmental delays, and autism spectrum disorder.
* You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other allied health professionals, including occupational therapists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for children with speech and language disorders.
* Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support children's communication development.
* Collaborate with parents and caregivers to implement strategies at home and promote carryover of skills.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and develop cohesive care plans.
Requirements:
* Registration as a Speech Pathologist with the relevant professional body.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with experience working with children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practice in the field.
