Chandler Macleod is seeking an EL1 Assistant Director – Procurement and Contract Manager. This is a full time 8 temporary opportunity Based in Townsville, this role offers the chance to lead procurement and contract activities for theclients projects, ensuring sustainable growth and conservation efforts.
About the Role:
* Lead procurement, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
* Oversee construction and technical contracts to deliver projects on time and to standard.
Key Skills & Requirements:
* Formal qualifications in Contract Management, Procurement, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Extensive knowledge of construction and technical project contracts.
* Experience with government procurement and coastal/marine projects.
* Strong contract management skills, including scheduling and stakeholder communication.
* Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and work proactively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
* Experience supporting Australian Government procurement.
* Familiarity with marine environments or coastal construction.
* Proficiency with scheduling software like Microsoft Project.
