Job Title

A contracts administrator is required to oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and streamline contract processes.


About The Role

* Contract Management: This involves overseeing the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ensuring all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
* Risk Mitigation: Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with contracts and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
* Cost Control: Managing all cost control for head contract claims, variations, subcontract claims, monthly cost reporting.
* Document Control: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and related documents. Ensuring proper filing and retrieval of contract documentation.
* Dispute Resolution: Addressing and resolving any disputes or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle in a timely and effective manner.
* Process Improvement: Continuously reviewing and improving contract management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


About You – Skills/Experience And Attributes

* Strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Jobpac experience is highly regarded.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Construction management degree or similar relevant tertiary/trade qualification.
* Minimum of 3+ years of experience in contracts administration with a proven track record in complex contract negotiations and management.
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
