Client Support Officer

Valley Plastic Surgery – founded by internationally recognised surgeons Dr Raymond Goh and Dr Matthew Peters – is defined by exceptional patient care, uncompromising safety standards, and consistently excellent surgical outcomes.

A career at Valley Plastic Surgery is more than a job – it's an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of our patients. Our mission is to deliver exemplary care and outstanding service at every stage of the surgical journey, and our team plays a vital role in delivering on that promise. Their experience, professionalism, and commitment shape the VPS experience.

As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and professional Client Support Officer to join our team in a pivotal administrative and patient-facing role.

THE HEART OF THE ROLE:

This position plays a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of our clinic. You will liaise across clinical, administrative, and surgical teams to ensure patients receive timely and well-coordinated care.

Key responsibilities include:

* Frontline Patient Interaction: Be the first point of contact for patients, handling phone, email, and in-person enquiries with warmth and professionalism – often managing complex questions or concerns.
* Appointment & Surgical Coordination: Manage consultation and procedure bookings, assist in surgical scheduling, and monitor each patient's journey through our clinic, ensuring continuity and a high standard of care.
* Consulting List Accuracy & Optimisation: Review weekly schedules for alignment with surgeon preferences. Identify and fill appointment gaps, and troubleshoot booking issues as needed.
* Team Player: Embrace a hands-on, "can-do" attitude. Flexibility and willingness to assist where needed is essential in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

* Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a busy medical administration role – ideally within a specialist, general practice or dental setting.
* Strong understanding of clinical workflows and appointment/surgical booking processes.
* Professional, confident communication style with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Experience with medical software (Genie preferred) and strong general IT competency.
* High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
* A reliable and proactive approach with maturity and emotional intelligence.
* Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and patient-first values.

This is a full-time role (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday – no weekend work.

If you bring a strong work ethic, a warm and professional manner, and thrive in a high-performing clinical environment – we'd love to hear from you.

To apply, please send your resume and a short cover letter outlining how you meet the above criteria. Please be aware only short-listed applicants will be contacted.
