Join Cure Cancer as a volunteer at the Cairns Marathon Festival 2026 and help support runners from across Australia and beyond.
We're looking for friendly volunteers to assist at the Event Precinct, helping with merchandise pick-up, sales, and distributing free event t-shirts. You'll play a key role in creating a great experience for participants throughout the event.
When and where:
Event Precinct, Fogarty Park, Cairns
Saturday 11 July and Sunday 12 July 2026
Multiple shifts available
What you'll do:
• Assist with merchandise pick-up and sales
• Distribute free event t-shirts to participants
• Support participants with general questions
• Help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere
What we're looking for:
• Friendly and reliable people
• Comfortable interacting with the public
• Able to be on your feet for a few hours
• Happy to be part of a team
No experience needed, just a willingness to help.
