We're inviting students from Electrical and Controls Engineering disciplines to join us in roles across our Iron Ore business. Applicants must be currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering degree in:
* Electrical and/or Electronic
* Instrumentation
* Industrial Control and Automation

Our Intern Program offers you the chance to help shape Rio Tinto from within. The 12-week Summer Internship Program provides hands‐on experience, with the potential to secure a graduate position upon completion.

Where you will be working
In the Pilbara region of Western Australia, we own a world-class, integrated network of 18 mines, 4 independent port terminals, a rail network spanning nearly 2,000 km and related infrastructure – all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand. We are one of the world's leading producers and exporters of iron ore.
Intern Program – penultimate year or students in 2nd or 3rd year; must have the right to work in Australia or New Z and be available for FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) and Perth-based opportunities.
Requirements
Students must be currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and/or Electronic, Instrumentation, or Industrial Control and Automation.
