Swift Integration Specialist - FTC to March ****
Join the Reserve Bank of Australia as a Swift Integration Specialist for a fixed-term contract running to March ****. This role requires extensive knowledge of SWIFT applications and related payment platforms.
About the role
Lead integration and configuration of SWIFT vendor products, including SWIFT Payment Access Gateways (PAGs), SWIFT Domestic Messaging Channels (DMCs), SWIFT AWP Alliance (SAA), SWIFT Netlinks (SNLs), and other SWIFT infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with the different departments on the New Payment Platform (NPP) and associated Fast Settlement Systems (FSS) to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Support, patch, and upgrade Swift products on a regular basis and have a good understanding of the SWIFT Network.
Provide ongoing functional and technical support for SWIFT systems to enable seamless payment processing and settlement.
Troubleshoot and resolve SWIFT integration and messaging issues to maintain high availability and performance.
Identify risks/issues from an administrative perspective, develop plans to mitigate/resolve, and implement these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.
Have a general knowledge of VMware virtualisation technologies (e.g., vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) and Network Engineering (Cisco UCS).
Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in SWIFT technologies and payment systems to provide strategic guidance and insights.
About you
Proficiency with SWIFT vendor products, including but not limited to SWIFT Payment Access Gateways, SWIFT Domestic Messaging Channels, SWIFT AWP, SAA, SNL, and SWIFT Networks.
Strong domain expertise in payment systems, settlement processes, and real-time payment infrastructures.
Experience with Redhat Linux (RHEL) operating system and cloud technology is highly regarded.
