About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Agronomist to join our team and provide expert agronomic advice and support to growers, helping them make informed decisions related to crop inputs, soil health, and farm management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with broadacre cropping clients, providing tailored agronomic advice across chemical, fertilizer, seed, and soil health.
* Conduct in-field assessments and deliver crop monitoring and planning services, developing seasonal programs and input plans to support on-farm success.
* Identify opportunities to grow the client base and cross-sell products and services, staying informed on local agronomic trends, R&D, and emerging technologies.
* Deliver high-quality agronomic advice and services that meet the needs of growers, leveraging technical knowledge of cropping systems and sustainable input planning.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in agricultural science, agronomy, or a related field.
* Practical experience in broadacre agronomy, agricultural product sales, or crop consulting.
* Strong technical knowledge of cropping systems and sustainable input planning.
* Sound use of digital farm management systems for planning and recording recommendations.
* A current driver's license and ability to work independently in the field.
* A passion for Australian agriculture and a proactive approach to building client relationships.
