Carpenter - Bridge Maintenance Team, Goulburn
$46.07 per hour plus allowances and penalties
Capable and experienced trade carpenter required for work with a bridge maintenance team based from a depot at Goulburn, NSW.
This role will involve working on timber bridges and concrete structures within Goulburn and surrounding areas, to maintain bridges and drainage infrastructure.
You will carry out a variety of routine and repetitive physical tasks using hand and power tools. These tasks include, but are not limited to, general carpentry work, concreting, formwork, painting and general cleaning of bridges either as an individual or as part of a team.
This role will involve working full time hours of work (76 hours/fortnight) with opportunity for overtime at times, initially for a period of 6 months, with potential for further work beyond this time. A start of work ASAP is required.
Successful Applicants will need;
Carpentry certificate of proficiency or Trade certificate - Cert III in Carpentry or Cabinet Making - or equivalent
current WHS White Card - essential
Unrestricted NSW driver licence essential - with MR licence or above an advantage
Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
good all round fitness for manual work tasks
previous experience with road or bridge construction / maintenance will be highly regarded
