About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Officer to handle our credit control function and support the financial performance of Shimano Australia Cycling. You will play a key role in identifying credit risk, optimising cash flow, and ensuring the debtors ledger is maintained as per company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Follow up with customers to ensure commitments are adhered to and maintain notes on Pronto Xi.
* Update the Personal Property Securities Register (PPS) for new customers.
* Maintain & review customer orders on credit hold on a daily basis and liaise with the relevant sales representatives and customer service.
* Maintain regular contact with customers and build relationships in order to reduce DSOs and bad debts.
About You
* Thorough understanding of the credit process and current legislation.
* 5 years minimum experience within an Accounts Receivable or Debt Collection office.
* A polite but tenacious telephone manner, ability to have difficult conversations and maintain professional customer service skills.
* Analytical and high attention to detail.
* Excellent organisation and time management skills.
* Pronto ERP Experience (highly regarded).
