Care Manager - Jemalong Retirement Village Forbes
Join Catholic Healthcare as a Care Manager at the Jemalong Retirement Living facility (110 beds) in Forbes, NSW. This is a permanent full‐time (38 hours/week) role offering salary packaging, relocation assistance, accommodation support, visa sponsorship, and pathways to permanent residency.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure consistent delivery of high‐quality clinical care in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Catholic Healthcare policies.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to clinical and support staff to achieve positive resident outcomes.
* Act as second‐in‐charge to the Residential Manager, contributing to both strategic and operational planning.
* Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability, with a strong focus on infection prevention and control.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold best practice standards in aged care.
About You
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Demonstrated leadership experience within a residential aged care environment.
* Sound knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Quality Standards, and AN-ACC assessment processes.
* Strong clinical skills and understanding of age‐related health conditions.
* Proven ability to coach, influence, and lead multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a resident‐focused approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems.
* Commitment to workplace health and safety.
* Willingness to undergo a Police Check and obtain NDIS clearance.
