We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Designer with hands on experience in the urban development, land subdivision and transport infrastructure to join our clients growing Brisbane team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high profile projects while continuing to develop your technical and professional skills.
Our client is a well established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative civil design across Queensland and the east coast. They are known for mentoring engineers, fostering technical growth and delivering practical, buildable solutions across urban development and transport projects.
Role
As a Civil Designer, you will take ownership of civil design packages across the urban development, residential/commercial subdivisions, and transport projects. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high quality, coordinated and compliant civil designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the presentation of civil design and documentation for urban development and land subdivision projects.
* Apply advanced 12d and AutoCAD skills to create practical, accurate and buildable designs.
* Produce drawings in line with Australian standards and council requirements.
* Collaborate with engineers, sub-consultants and project stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
* Mentor junior designers and support a culture of technical experts.
About you
* Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering.
* 3-10+ years of Civil Design experience in urban development, land subdivision, and/or transport projects.
* Strong 12d design capabilities, with hands on AutoCAD experience.
* Knowledge of stormwater drainage, road design and earthworks.
* Familiarity with SEQ council standards, Australian Standards, and local authority requirements.
* Excellent time management and the ability to deliver projects on schedule.
* Strong communication and team work skills.
