 
        
        OverviewThe Hotel Services Officer reports directly to the Manager, Hotel Services and may be required to work in any of Cultura's food services preparation and service areas and complete day-to-day cleaning and/or laundry duties.Interaction with residents and their families is a vital part of the role, and team members must have sound communication skills and the ability to work under limited supervision as part of a team or individually. 
The Hotel Services Officer is responsible for prioritizing their own workload within established routines and procedures, including following Cultura's food safety plan, completing routine documentation and monitoring dietary requirements of residents.This position will be contracted on a casual basis.DutiesCommunicate with residents to ensure their needs and requirements are metAssist with, or complete, residents' laundryComplete routine and periodic cleaning and laundry tasksAdhere to dietary requirements for all residents and understand their preferences and choices when providing meal service and housekeepingPrepare vegetables, meals, snacks and fluidsServe meals and snacks to residentsSet, prepare, transparent and clean tables for resident mealsComplete dishwashing tasksMaintain hygiene and cleanliness of areas under responsibilityQualifications and ExperienceBasic food handling skills and understanding of hotel services requirementsUnderstand and follow food safety regulations and food safety planHold a current 'Food Handler' certificateHow to ApplyAnswer the application questions and submit your resume after reviewing the position description.Applications close for this position on Monday 6 October 2025 at 5:00pm.If you have any questions about the position, you may contact Nagmani Mishra, Hotel Services Manager, at (emailprotected)Employment may be subject to the satisfactory completion of a Police Criminal Record Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and Pre-Employment Health Declaration.
