OUT OF SCHOOL HOUR CARE DIRECTOR LEVEL 6.7
This permanent position for 38 hours per week requires the Director to oversee before school, after school, and vacation care services.
The director is accountable to Burton Primary School and its Governing Council for the overall operation, management, and administration of the OSHC and/or vacation care service, ensuring that:
* The service complies with the National Quality Framework (NQF) under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
* All relevant legal and statutory requirements are monitored, complied with, and implemented.
* The service's philosophy, policies, and procedures are upheld, implemented, and reviewed regularly to meet standards.
* Pedagogical leadership is provided to ensure quality care, recreation, and leisure programs, along with support and ongoing learning opportunities for staff.
* A vibrant, engaging, varied, and appropriate children's program is developed and implemented to cater to the needs of all children and families in the OSHC/vacation care community.
Desirable knowledge and experience:
* Strong leadership, operational, and financial management skills.
* Ability to relate well with children, families, and staff.
* Knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, and MTOP frameworks.
* Knowledge of the CCMS and Children Services Award.
Required Qualifications:
* Diploma or Degree-level qualification approved by ACECQA.
* First Aid qualifications approved by ACECQA.
* Responding to Abuse and Neglect training.
* Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Criminal History Screening.
