Job Description
We are currently seeking full-time Groundsperson to join our hard working maintenance team at Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort. This position requires an experienced, professional, reliable and well organised person to work a variety of days and shifts.
Your key responsibilities and duties include:
* Your number one priority will be to maintain the high standard of presentation at the property and its surrounding areas, including: gardens, lawns, pool areas, and other common areas;
* Undertake grounds care including; mowing, fertilising, and gardening.
* Assist in Irrigation system maintenance and management
* Carry out the maintenance of all tools and equipment (unless tradespersons are required)
* Assist in caring and servicing the pool and spa areas;
* Be vigilant for hazards and risks within the workplace that could cause harm and report accordingly; and
* Build & maintain professional and courteous relationships with guests, co-workers and management.
Qualifications
* Comprehensive knowledge of turf management, horticulture, machinery and irrigation
* Formal Qualifications (minimum: Certificate III in Sports Turf Management)
* Strong knowledge of chemicals (AQF 3)
* Exceptional communication, management and leadership skills
