As the Research & Development wing of MEG, Innotech Pty Ltd is responsible for designing new products for the HVAC marketplace, from concept to manufacture. About the role
Innotech Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate Embedded Software Engineer to become a valued member of our Research and Development team. In this full-time role, you'll provide essential technical development, and project coordination support, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer. Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Designing and implementing embedded software applications and drivers
Supporting hardware prototyping and component testing throughout the development cycle
Maintaining embedded operating systems and managing source code repositories
Conducting research into emerging technologies and developing proof-of-concept solutions
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and contribute to product specifications

Experience and qualifications
Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or Software Engineering
3+ years of embedded software development experience using C/C++
Strong debugging skills and ability to interpret electronic schematics
Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, AM335x), RTOS, Embedded Linux, and version control/build systems
Familiarity with scripting (BASH/Python) and using electronics test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
