Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Spinal will act as an expert resource in spinal nursing and support the care of clients with complex care issues through practice demonstration and action‐based learning opportunities for nursing staff.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in managing patients with traumatic and non‐traumatic spinal injuries.
* Support nursing staff through practice demonstration and the creation of action‐based learning opportunities.
* Utilise highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Appointment Details
Permanent, part‐time day worker; 15.2 hours per fortnight; commencement date mutually agreed.
Salary
Pro rata salary $118,297 to $125,543 per annum plus 12% superannuation. Additional allowances may include a post‐graduate allowance up to 10% based on qualification type.

Eligibility
Essential:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
Desirable:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or progression in spinal cord injuries and management.
