This role focuses on enabling infrastructure such as water, power, and utilities; transport and trunk infrastructure; and other requirements essential for major projects.
As Director, you will empower your team, colleagues, and partners to deliver major and complex State and private sector projects aligned with the Government's economic, social, and environmental agenda and the State Development Coordination and Facilitation Act ****.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead infrastructure planning and coordination across multiple sectors.
• Provide strategic engineering advisory and development services.
• Collaborate with government agencies and private sector partners to enable project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with the Act and alignment with State priorities.
• Drive innovation and best practice in infrastructure development.
We are looking for an experienced leader with:
• Extensive experience in infrastructure planning and delivery at a senior level.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Expertise in utilities, transport, and trunk infrastructure.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Special Conditions The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
