About the opportunity Cardiac Technologists employed at this fantastic hospital are responsible for providing high quality patient care and clinical expertise during Cardiac Interventions and Electrophysiology procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Cardiac Technologists are responsible for patient preparation, haemodynamic monitoring, assisting cardiologists with procedures, report preparation as well as intracardiac pacing and electrophysiological manoeuvres during ablation procedures. Learning ability, particularly with respect to new technology is key. Facility You will be working in a 122 bed modern, acute care facility located right in the heart of Melbourne’s renowned medical precinct. This hospital offers a range of specialised services including cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, urology, oncology, and general surgery supported by a Level 1 Intensive Care Unit and state-of-the-art surgical theatres.
