EL1 Manager, Procurement, Contracts and Travel Flexible, hybrid work arrangements Ongoing and Non-Ongoing About the opportunity We're looking for a Manager, Procurement, Contracts and Travel to lead delivery of procurement and travel functions for AUSTRAC. You'll play an influential role in shaping financial and corporate governance, strategic planning, performance, and program management. To support AUSTRAC's goals and reporting obligations, you'll bring a calm, measured approach in assessing data and optimizing value for money. As a visionary leader, you'll bring fresh perspectives and challenge ideas to improve processes and systems. You'll also guide and develop a small team, creating an environment where team members feel empowered and encouraged to contribute their best ideas. What are we looking for Process relevant qualifications such as a Certificate IV or Diploma in Government Procurement and Contracting. Well-developed understanding of legislation, policies, guidelines, and the Commonwealth Procurement Framework. Additional Information Salary: $123,799 - $140,935, plus 15.4% superannuation Flexible, hybrid work arrangements Ongoing and Non-Ongoing roles Key Duties Manage procurement to ensure value for money and compliance with the PGPA Act. Manage effective travel functions in accordance with the Whole of Australian Government Travel Policies. Identify and implement continuous improvements. Deliver procurement reporting obligations. Provide accurate reports for external reporting and executive briefings. Advise on procurement and contract management, including strategy development, tender processes, and negotiations. Lead and develop procurement and travel teams.
