About the role
Teppo Haulage 1 Pty Ltd, a leading road transport company, is seeking a casual Heavy Combination (HC) Tipper Truck Driver to join their team based in Diggers Rest, Victoria. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials to support our clients' construction and infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing
1. Operate a tipper truck with HC licence to transport a variety of materials, including gravel, sand, soil, and other bulk commodities
2. Safely load, transport, and unload materials at job sites, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures
3. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
4. Maintain accurate records of load weights, delivery times, and any incidents or issues encountered
5. Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle
6. Provide excellent customer service to clients by ensuring timely and professional delivery of materials
What we're looking for
1. Valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
2. Minimum 2 years' experience operating a tipper truck or similar heavy vehicle
3. Australian work rights are required for this position
4. Strong knowledge of road rules, safe driving practices, and load restraint requirements
5. Excellent time management and organisational skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Good communication and customer service skills
8. Commitment to workplace health and safety
