Join our courageous and compassionate team at QHome residential crisis accommodation services. We provide temporary supported accommodation for men and women 18 years and above who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping them work towards stability in their living arrangements, with an environment of inclusion and respect and a case management framework to support safe transitioning into the community with successful outcomes. The service supports clients to meet immediate needs and work towards obtaining stable, long-term accommodation as soon as possible.
As a Senior Team Leader focused on Accommodation Services, you will work closely with the QHome team to manage the site for our clients. This role requires the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with other divisions to create exceptional client experiences.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team at a senior level to deliver service programs and ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
* Manage the QHome accommodation site to support clients and operational delivery.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and positive client experiences.
* Utilise the case management framework to support clients towards stable, long-term housing outcomes.
* Foster an inclusive, respectful environment and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
To Be Successful You Will Need
* Extensive experience leading teams and delivering program services in line with organisational goals.
* Experience working within government funded programs.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organisations, and other service providers.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and effectively lead a team.
* People management experience including recruitment, rostering, supervision, coaching, feedback and performance management.
* Comprehensive knowledge of organisational programs, policies and operations.
* Tertiary qualifications with relevant industry experience or extensive industry experience.
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities is highly regarded.
* Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds is highly regarded.
* Out of hours work may be required; intra- and interstate travel may be required.
Compliance
* A current QLD drivers licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent
* Blue Card (Working with Children card)
* A current national Police Check (within the last 3 months)
* Current First Aid & CPR Certifications
