Delivering exceptional patient care as a Physical Therapy Aide is a challenging and rewarding experience. This role plays a key part in supporting the recovery of our patients, while gaining valuable skills that can launch your healthcare career.
Responsibilities
* Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
* Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
* Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing medical forms.
* Support the Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
* Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
* Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications
Required
* High School diploma is required.
* Must be 18+ years old.
* Healthcare and/or customer service experience is necessary.
Preferred
* Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students) is preferred.
* Certified Personal Trainer experience is desirable.
* Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology is beneficial.
