Join a legacy of Leadership and Impact.
Women's Safety Services of Central Australia (WoSSCA), formerly the Alice Springs Women's Shelter, has been a cornerstone of support for women and children since 1975. Born from grassroots activism and community care, WoSSCA has grown from a volunteer-run centre into a leading specialist service committed to safety, empowerment, and cultural respect. As we continue to evolve and strengthen our services, we invite passionate, values-driven professionals to be part of our journey, helping shape a safer, more inclusive future for women and children across Central Australia.
Who We Are:

Our services include 24-hour crisis accommodation, outreach support, court advocacy, partner contact for men's behaviour change programs, co-responder functions, and community development and training. Through strong partnerships and advocacy, we are committed to driving change and improving outcomes for those affected by violence.
