**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide person-centred support tailored to the client’s individual needs and mental health goals
- Assist the client in accessing community services and participating in social and recreational activities
- Promote mental well-being and emotional stability using appropriate strategies
- Support daily living tasks, where required, to encourage independence
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and support coordinators to ensure holistic care
- Maintain accurate documentation and records, including progress notes and incident reports
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Mental Health, or a related field
- Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health disabilities is highly desirable
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Reliable vehicle and open driver’s licence
- Comprehensive car insurance (note: CTP-only or impulsive insurance is not accepted)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Availability for 3-6 hour shifts, 2 days per week
