We are seeking a detail-oriented Student Services (Curriculum) Officer to support our School's curriculum and reporting requirements.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with external authorities and maintaining the integrity of academic data through effective systems management.The Student Services (Curriculum) Officer, along with our Student Services (Attendance) and Student Services (Reliefs) Officers, will ensure the delivery of comprehensive support to our students, staff, parents and wider community.Duties:Manage all curriculum reporting requirements in line with the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) regulations.Complete and submit accurate and timely uploads to the Student Information Records System (SIRS), SRMS Portal and other relevant platforms.Oversee administrative processes related to NAPLAN and OLNA, including student registrations, testing logistics, and data reporting.Co-ordinate the preparation, proofreading and distribution of Semester Reports, Year 12 Statement of Results and Certificate of Senior Studies.Provide administrative support and system maintenance for Synergetic and SEQTA.Manage the PTO (Parent-Teacher meetings) booking process, room set-up and catering.Prepare and distribute Web Preferences logins for Student Subject selections.Prepare and send high quality communications, to staff, parents and students, on behalf of the Head of Secondary and Director of Studies.Support administrative and organisational needs of School events, particularly Examination timetables, Externally Set Tasks and Speech Night awards and certificates.Manage student confidential files.Provide assistance to the Attendance and Reliefs Officers as needed.Display high customer service skills when greeting visitors or answering phone calls.Provide administrative support to students, staff and families.Display high-level word processing and excel skills, including excel formulas and mail merge.Maintain confidentiality at all times.Essential qualities:Previous experience in a school administration or student services role, with a focus on data management and curriculum reporting.Strong understanding of SCSA and SIRS requirements, as well as NAPLAN and OLNA processes.Proficiency in using SEQTA and Synergetic or other school information systems.Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.High level of interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.Desirable qualities:Relevant qualifications and experiences will be accepted.
