Logistics Assistant Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Assistant to join our Operations Team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand and share their knowledge with a well-established team of industry professionals.
* Assisting the Logistics Lead with daily tasks for the warehouse is essential.
* Attending to customer queries and requests while ensuring client requirements are met.
* Ensuring systems are correctly set up from quote to final invoices for logistics and calibration is critical.
Main Responsibilities:
Key tasks include receiving stock, including sorting and organising deliveries. Additionally, purchasing materials for internal and external projects, including raising purchase orders, organising freight, supplying quotes is a key responsibility.
* Stock inventory management is also a vital task, involving inspecting goods against the delivery docket and purchase order.
Requirements:
* Excellent writing and verbal skills are required.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role is necessary.
* Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as a willingness to learn our in-house software system/s and work with this daily are expected.
