Student Placement Coordinator Role
The Student Placement Coordinator is responsible for the organisation and delivery of Allied Health placements across the East Kimberley region. This role oversees logistics, student support, and stakeholder relationships to ensure high-quality learning experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administration & Systems: Provide administrative support, manage student data, enquiries, and documentation.
* Placement Coordination & Logistics: Coordinate clinical placements, schedules, finances, travel, and accommodation in collaboration with relevant teams.
* Stakeholder & Community Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with placement partners, universities, Aboriginal community-controlled organisations, and other stakeholders.
* Student Support: Support students throughout their placement experience through proactive communication, problem-solving assistance, and pastoral care.
Qualifications & Skills:
A relevant qualification and experience in administration, health, or education, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in clinical practicum or placement coordination within a tertiary or health setting is highly desirable.
