About the Role In this Centre Director position, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the service. You will guide a team of educators to deliver consistent, high-quality education and care, while ensuring the centre operates effectively and meets all operational and quality requirements. The role also involves supporting the ongoing development of both children and staff. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of centre operations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment Lead, support, and develop educators, promoting strong practice and continuous improvement Manage enrolments, occupancy, budgets, and positive relationships with families Build and maintain connections within the local community to support the center’s profile About You You’re authentic, passionate about working with children, and a natural communicator. You’re driven and supportive of others’ success. You are well-connected and community-minded. You are organised with a great eye for detail. You are a strong leader, articulate, commercial and professional. Hold a completed Diploma and/or (working towards) Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved) Prior leadership experience working in a long day care. Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF. Current First Aid Certificate and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates. Current Working with Children's Check.
