Are you passionate about building robust test automation frameworks and ensuring software quality in complex, integration-heavy environments? We’re looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a high-performing QA team at one of Australia’s leading financial services organisations.
About the Role
This is a permanent position with a strong focus on test automation while maintaining a solid understanding of manual testing. You’ll be part of a collaborative and innovative QA department working across mission-critical financial systems and government integrations.
* Primary tools: Playwright + Python
* Experience with other automation frameworks is a bonus, but deep expertise in the above is essential
What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing and implementing robust automation frameworks using Playwright with Python
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
* Contributing to test strategies that ensure seamless integration with external financial systems
* Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and end-to-end test planning
Ideal Candidate
* Strong experience with Python-based automation using Playwright
* Background in banking, superannuation, or broader financial services
