We are seeking an experienced Finance Team Leader to oversee the day to day finance function and help strengthen our financial operations during a period of improvement, restructure and growth.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role leads a small finance team and has responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month end close, while also contributing to management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
This is a hands-on role suited to a senior management accountant who bring strong technical capability, solving problems, and an interest in continuous improvement within a values driven organisation.
About the role
* Lead and support the finance team across AP, AR and month‑end close activities
* Partner closely with the CFO on financial analysis, budgets and forecasts
* Identify, resolve and improve issues within claiming, AP and core finance processes
* Ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting
* Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, controls and processes
About you
* CPA or CA qualified with strong technical accounting capability
* Advanced Excel skills and a structured, analytical approach to problem‑solving
* Demonstrated experience in both operational and management accounting
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, mentor and support a small team
* Experience in aged care, community services or a similar regulated environment is desirable
This role would suit a senior, qualified management accountant with solid operational experience who is comfortable getting hands‑on and adding immediate value, while also contributing to the longer‑term capability of the business.
