Senior Integration Developer (Power Platform & Azure)
Contract role for 12 months with 6 months extension

Our Federal Government client is seeking
two experienced Senior Integration Developers
to join a large, multi-year digital transformation program delivering a modern case management platform and external portal capabilities.
This program is currently in the delivery phase and involves replacing multiple legacy business applications with a new
Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse-based platform
. You will play a critical role in designing and delivering
secure, scalable, and supportable integrations
across the Power Platform and Azure.
This role owns the
end-to-end integration lifecycle
— from design and build through deployment and production support.
Key duties and responsibilities
* Design the integration between two Dataverse environments, respecting segmentation / security requirements.
* Build ingestion and transfer mechanisms for form submissions.
* Implement integration using Azure services.
* Implement secure authentication and authorisation.
* Build observability and operational readiness.
* Support DevOps delivery, including CI/CD integration components.
* Collaborate with platform / security teams to align with Zero Trust principles and continuous verification and monitoring.
Essential criteria
• Strong experience delivering Power Platform / Dataverse integrations, including Dataverse Web API and / or SDK patterns.
• Ability to work with stakeholders (product, platform, security) and translate requirements into workable designs.
• Strong hands-on delivery with Azure integration services, ideally including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage
• Solid API integration fundamentals: REST, OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting/throttling, pagination, error contracts
• Security-first engineering mindset: Least privilege, secure secret handling, threat-aware design, auditability
• Production engineering skills: Monitoring / alerting, incident response, resilience patterns (retries, DLQ, idempotency)
• Engineering capability in at least one of: C# / .NET (strongly preferred), or equivalent backend engineering skills
Desirable criteria
• Experience with Power Pages specifics (external identity patterns, submission pipelines, attachments).
• Experience with Dynamics 365 / model-driven apps and internal case management solutions.
• Familiarity with XrmToolBox for admin / troubleshooting.
• Experience in regulated environments (public sector) and working with frameworks like ISM / Essential Eight / IRAP-aligned controls.
• Experience with private networking patterns (VNet integration, private endpoints) for PaaS services.
