Role Purpose The People and Culture Team is a thriving, award-winning and passionate team. The People & Culture Advisor forms part of the People Partnering team and plays a key part in delivering exceptional people experiences across the entire employee lifecycle. It works to implement key people strategy initiatives and projects, alongside providing support and advice to Managers in areas such as employee relations, policy, recruitment, employee engagement, learning and development and DE&I. It involves working closely with other People Partners, alongside our P&C Central and Centres of Excellence.
Reporting into the P&C Lead, this role demands strong interpersonal skills, ability to deal with ambiguity and the desire to implement innovative people solutions to our agencies.
You'll be supported by P&C Central, our shared service center working across all Publicis Groupe agencies. We've also got a variety of COEs such as L&D, DE&I, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, People Experience and Internal Comms.
Responsibilities: Some of the things we might spot you doing include -
Implementing the agency people strategy which could include retention, reward and recognition, performance management, L&D, and other people related initiatives to support business goals and objectives. Being actively involved in assigned Publicis Groupe P&C projects as part of the broader People strategy. Manager team coaching and guidance Partnering with managers to coach and empower them on how to design and build high-performing teams, including giving and receiving feedback, accountability, goal-setting, performance management, people development and reward and recognition. Providing professional, business-focused, day-to-day people & culture services including performance management, grievance resolution, recruitment coordination, salary review advice. Supporting P&C Lead in preparing and delivering talent mapping and succession planning sessions with Leadership teams. Being the point of contact for ER issues, escalating when necessary to the P&C Lead. Supporting end-to-end management of grievances, complaints, claims and investigations. Culture and Employee Engagement Driving specific culture/DE&I initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive culture supporting retention and employee engagement. Leading communication about employee perks and benefits. Preparing employee engagement survey results, providing insight and analysis into ways we could do things better and trends we're seeing. Contributing to employee recognition programs and events to celebrate achievements and foster a sense of belonging. Remuneration Collaborating with the P&C lead to develop competitive and fair remuneration structures and packages including reviewing internal and external benchmarking. Supporting the P&C lead on salary increase cycles including stakeholder management, budget management, benchmarking and recommendations. Learning & Development Overseeing communication for all internal and external training opportunities. Ensuring completion of relevant L&D modules and platforms such as Career Conversations, compliance training, Power Skills, global and local programs and Marcel Classes. Visa and Immigration Leading the immigration process for international employees working closely with the Groupe Immigration lead and Talent Acquisition team for new starters. Preparing the visa and permanent residency application process including documentation submission, stakeholder management and communication with external immigration provider. Keeping up to date with immigration legislative changes. Ensuring visa related databases are up to date and completes audits when necessary. Administration Overseeing leave processes such as Parental, Working with Cancer etc. by supporting employees, asking the right questions and working with the P&C Central to prepare relevant documentation and administer process. Ensuring up-to-date and accurate information in databases and systems. Regularly reviewing Policy books and people processes to ensure up to date and escalate any changes needed. Managing end-to-end process of workers' compensation incidents. Skills & Experience 2-4 years' experience in a People & Culture role (ideally in a multi-site, matrix organisation). Experience across the whole employee lifecycle including recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, manager development, remuneration and benefits, employee relations and off-boarding. Intermediate working knowledge of employment law, including the Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in workplace situations. Knowledge of visas and immigration (desirable). Behaviours A natural ability to engage people, with strong relationship-building skills and a high EQ. Comfortable with the flexibility, fluidity and constant change and often ambiguity that the industry brings. A creative thinker, always considering new ways, better ways to do things and comfortable working in an environment where we always challenge the status quo. You show up, each and every day with professionalism, attention to detail, strong follow-up, time management, clear communication and problem-resolution skills. Able to manage sensitive information with discretion, acting diplomatic and tactful when dealing with delicate situations.
