Assistants in nursing work within a plan of care under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse and within the limits of the Assistant in Nursing position description. Assistants in Nursing retain responsibility for their own actions and remain accountable to the Registered Nurse for all allocated functions. Assistants in Nursing practice in accordance with NSW Health guidelines, the position description and local policy and protocol.

A little about us.
Bulli Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, provides inpatient, outpatient and allied health services, as well as the Urgent Care Centre, for the northern Illawarra. The Urgent Care Centre provides treatment for minor injury and illness. The nurse‑led model of care enables patients to be seen and assessed by specialist nurses who, in consultation with medical teams, deliver treatment and management plans for patients.
Situated just a short drive from the stunning Bulli Beach and the scenic Illawarra Escarpment, the hospital not only provides essential health services but also offers a tranquil and beautiful environment for both patients and staff.

* HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or equivalent or 2 or 3 Year Undergraduate Nursing Student
