Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lifestyle Assistant to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities and lifestyle programs that enable clients to participate in a variety of experiences improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with assessing clients' needs for recreational and diversional therapy.
* Participate in designing, implementing, and evaluating activity plans.
* Complete delegated documentation accurately and within an acceptable timeframe.
* Assist clients in achieving leisure and recreational activities.
* Liaise with community organizations, rehabilitation facilities, clergy, doctors, relatives, and other staff.
* Foster a cooperative and harmonious relationship with staff, clients, and their families.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A current National Police Certificate.
* A valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
* Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
* Experience in conducting activity programs/therapy, diversional therapy, and recreation.
* Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively within a team.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuously upgrading skills, knowledge, and competencies.
