We are seeking Branch Operations Manager for our well‑established Gracemere branch.

Overview of role

Provide support and leadership to all Employees within the Gracemere Branch. Actively building relationships, including sourcing sales and purchasing opportunities with current and future clients. Maintaining the company's strategic objectives and meeting budget forecasts.

Leading and managing the day‑to‑day operations of your branch including, but not limited to repairing equipment, making equipment presentable for sale, keeping sales yard presentable and qualified, organising and overseeing subcontractors, organising logistics and facilitating sales of equipment.

Areas of Responsibility (but not limited to)

- Shaping the work environment ensuring Nationwide Values of Trust and Accountability are first and foremost considered with all business.
- Work with the General Manager to grow the company towards its desired strategic growth plans.
- Continually working with Business Manager, General Manager and Mechanic's within the Business.
- Develops strategic plans to Acquire and Dispose of Nationwide's Equipment.
- Co‑ordinate the Logistics of Equipment.
- Maintains equipment enforcing preventive and on‑going maintenance, scheduling repairs.
- Co‑ordinate and facilitate the sale of equipment.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will need

Essential

- Ability to perform day to day duties with a commercial mindset.
- Superior written and verbal communication.
- Strong financial adherence and accountability.
- Listens, understands, and adapts to an audience and can communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders across a business.
- Takes ownership of outcomes and can balance accuracy with timeliness.

Desirable

- Well ‑ developed management skills such as planning, organising and evaluation.
- Understanding and interoperating relevant Standards and Codes of Practice.
- Training in OH&S; disciples.
- 5-10 years' experience in the trade or similar position.
