Taverna Kingscliff is calling for a passionate, hands‑on Head Chef to lead our tight‑knit kitchen team in one of the Northern Rivers' most iconic beachfront venues.

What You'll Be Doing
* Leading a talented kitchen team with clear communication and high standards
* Designing and executing seasonal menus that reflect our Greek‑inspired ethos and coastal setting
* Managing food and labour costs with a focus on sustainability and profitability
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
* Collaborating with front‑of‑house for seamless service and guest satisfaction
* Upholding a respectful, positive kitchen culture that values initiative and teamwork
* Participating in tastings, events, and brand‑driven activations
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership role
* Experience in hat‑awarded venues highly regarded
* Proven ability to lead, train, and retain high‑performing teams
* Strong creative and technical skill in seasonal menu development
* Solid understanding of kitchen financials and operational efficiency
* Calm, confident leadership style with excellent communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment without compromising quality
* Must have Australian work rights
