We are looking to engage a skilled ICT Project Manager to join our Federal Government client seeking a full time role.
Our client is currently looking for a ICT Project Manager to join their team on a long term engagement.
Australian Citizens with Top Security Positive Vetting security clearance will be required for this role.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a small set of projects within a larger program of work in a secret intelligence environment.
Reporting to a Program Manager, you will work independently to fill immediate gaps and support the department's forward plan.
Key Responsibilities
Full Project Lifecycle: Manage everything from project initiation through to transition-to-BAU and final closure.
Governance & Reporting: Oversee scope, schedule, and delivery timeframes while reporting directly to Senior Executives and Project Boards.
Financial Oversight: Track, monitor, and report against baselined financials and departmental budget processes.
Risk Management: Actively identify and resolve issues while managing project risks.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and communicate with a range of technical professionals and senior stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate:
Experience: A proven track record of delivering complex ICT projects using methodologies such as Prince2, MSP, Agile, SAFe, or Hybrid.
Operational Excellence: The ability to adhere to strict tools, templates, and processes while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Engagement Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to build relationships with technical teams and senior executives.
Adaptability: The capability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment to achieve traction and outcomes.
