About the role
Join the Rural Support Service as the Personal Assistant iCCnet and play a key role in supporting the Operations and Research Manager and ensuring the smooth running of the Integrated Cardiovascular Clinical Network. This position provides high‑level executive and administrative support, helps coordinate clinical and operational activities, and contributes to projects, documentation, and service improvements. With a focus on communication, collaboration, and efficient office management, the PA helps connect healthcare teams across regional and rural areas and supports the delivery of high‑quality cardiology services statewide.
How will you contribute
- Provide comprehensive executive and administrative support, including correspondence management, meeting coordination, policy drafting and roster maintenance.
- Assist in project management activities through research, investigation, preparation of documentation, and support to committees and working groups.
- Coordinate and support operational requirements such as patient referrals, EMR use, clinic schedules, training programs, and statewide cardiology hotline functions.
- Support team cohesion, office leadership, and collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals, regional networks, consumers, and external stakeholders.
Who are we looking for?
- Are you an effective communicator with solid interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills?
- Do you excel at managing high workloads, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team?
- Are you able to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgement, and design or improve administrative systems for operational efficiency?
- Do you have experience engaging with Aboriginal consumers in a culturally appropriate way and a willingness to undertake further cultural training?
