As a rates administration professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and compliant administration of Council's rates and property database in accordance with legislation, regulations, and Council policies.
You will prepare and issue rates notices, manage instalment plans, direct debit arrangements, and payment schedules to support the effective collection and recovery of outstanding rates and charges.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property records is also crucial, including land divisions, amalgamations, change of ownership, and Certificate of Title changes.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A tertiary qualification in Business Administration (Financial Management) or related discipline.
* Proven experience in rates administration, accounting, or similar roles.
