Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic International Student Recruitment Manager
to expand AHSI’s international student community. The ideal candidate will be a
skilled relationship builder with a proven record of developing and nurturing
partnerships that drive successful student pathways and enrolment outcomes. They
will bring strong knowledge of the Australian education sector and experience in
building international networks.
In this role, you will represent AHSI with professionalism and integrity, ensuring
students, agents, and stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and
confidence to champion our courses and promote AHSI globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote AHSI’s courses, values, and student experience through
presentations, information sessions, education fairs, and other marketing
activities, act as a brand ambassador in all interactions.
- Manage the student recruitment process from initial enquiry to enrolment,
ensuring compliance and a seamless experience for students in collaboration
with agents and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with onshore and offshore
agents, providing them with the tools, training, and support needed to drive
sustainable student recruitment.
- Research and expand into new markets, while leading the creation of
tailored marketing campaigns and digital content to support recruitment goals.
- Coordinate and promote events for students and agents, including
webinars, fairs, and open days, to enhance engagement and strengthen
partnerships.
Selection Criteria
Essential
- Strong knowledge of the Australian VET sector, international student
recruitment processes, visas, agent agreements, and compliance
requirements
- Proven sales and marketing experience in the education sector, with a track
record of achieving recruitment and enrolment target
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and
manage relationships at all levels
- Outgoing, proactive, and results-oriented, with a natural ability to build trust
and long-term partnerships
- Strong organisational, negotiation, and time-management skills, with the
ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team
Desirable
- Fluency in a second language, in addition to English (e.g. Japanese, Korean,
Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese), is highly regarded
- Experience in developing and delivering digital marketing strategies and
social media campaigns
- Understanding of international student welfare, support services, and cross-
cultural engagement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
