The role
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic school leavers and graduates to join our Non-Destructive Testing Traineeship Program in 2024. This program offers practical 'in-field' experience in NDT methodologies, alongside studies in Engineering at Certificate or Advanced Diploma levels.
Successful trainees who complete the Certificate III and meet the technical and non-technical requirements will have the opportunity to pursue an Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) and advanced NDT qualifications. This progression enables you to work independently as an NDT Technician within our company.
All qualifications and training expenses are fully funded by Bureau Veritas.
What's needed?
Ideally, you will have previous experience and possess the following skills:
* Completion of Year 12 with pass marks in Maths, English, and Science; OR
* Started a mechanical trade certification;
* Mechanical aptitude or an interest in how mechanical systems work;
* A positive attitude and willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Trainees at Bureau Veritas start with a base salary of $43,000 in their first year, with the potential to earn an average annual salary of $70,000 including overtime after the first year.
