Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Dental Receptionist to join our practice. This role is primarily front desk/reception-based, with occasional dental assisting duties as required.
* Wednesdays: Earlier finish at 4:30 PM
* Potential third day: Fridays 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM
* Weekly hours: 17.25 hours for 2 days, or 25.5 hours for 3 days
* Availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is non-negotiable
* Opportunity to grow into a full-time position in the future
Duties include:
* Patient reception, scheduling, and phone enquiries
* Maintaining accurate patient records and billing
* Ensuring compliance with practice policies, WHS, and infection control
* Occasional chairside assistance and preparation of treatment rooms
* Instrument sterilisation and patient care support
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist; Certificate III in Dental Assisting is advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously on reception duties
* Experience with Oasis PMS isadvantageous, but not essential
* Must have own transport
* Working With Children Check (WWCC) – required or willingness to obtain
