Connect APAC are partnering with their long‑term client, Global leaders in the Liquor industry, who are experiencing double‑digit growth – home to some of the most loved and on‑trend brands across the category.
This role will report directly into the Head of Field Sales & On Premise where you will have total ownership and lead a team across VIC, TAS and SA.
Key Responsibilities
* Coaching a team of BDEs
* Be in trade actively coaching BDEs to develop commercial and selling skills
* Ensure the team is selling in against Key Account program to deliver sales results
* Managing and measuring work – for your states and BDE territories – performance management
* Ensuring BDEs have a development plan and you are working together to deliver.
Key Accounts
* Build and foster strong relationships with State Based MSOs
* Lead a drive for New Business
* Work collaboratively with Account Managers to deliver growth targets by banner and group
* Ensure distribution of core ranging within Banners/groups
* Work with key wholesale partners to jointly drive volume
Brand Building
* Work collaboratively with Brand teams to bring to life brand plans within your region
* Deliver gate Volume and distribution targets
* Drive your team to deliver against brand priorities per cycle
* Ensure Discounts and Bonus Stock is kept to budget
Experience Required
* Experience working in the Liquor industry or other FMCG categories
* Must have strong sales coaching and people development (and management) capabilities
* You have held a similar position (e.g. Field Sales Manager, State Sales Manager, or Regional Sales Manager)
* Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
* Strong organisation, project and time management skills
